8:00 PM Katherine Ellison, Buzz: A Year of Paying Attention.Spend your morning with Pulitzer Prize-winning investigative journalist Katherine Ellison as she digs into the medical facts on the unfortunate falsehoods around, and her own experiences with, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. Originally begun as a mother's story (her son Buzz was diagnosed with ADHD) this "absorbing, sharply observed memoir" is also her own story, as she learned that Buzz was not the only person in her family with ADHD?she, too, received the diagnosis. Learn how living with ADHD with grace and even humor (Ms. Ellison is as funny as she is insightful) can bring life into a surprisingly sharp focus.

Born in Savannah, Georgia, uprooted to a Lithuanian shtetl, and?eventually?gone stark, raving MAD (MAD magazine, that is), Al Jaffee has led a singular life. His story is recounted on the page and in person by Mary-Lou Weisman, whose page-turning biography of the page-folding artist is an uproarious and engaging look at a cultural icon. Have your lunch with the biographer and learn more about an artist Stan Lee calls "incredibly creative, supremely talented? Al Jaffee is right up there at the top of the list."
