Outsourcing, the IT revolution, globalization, the rise of China, India and other parts of Asia, the demise of American ingenuity, deficits, government stalemate - what do they spell for the future of jobs in America? These and other issues will be the focus of the first Asian Heritage Society Career Conference to be held in collaboration with Alliant International University. The event is co-sponsored by the Society, Alliant and the U.S. Navy in cooperation with UCSD, Cal State San Marcos and the San Diego Community College District (Mesa, Miramar and City Colleges). Leaders in the fields of technology, research, health, government, education, entrepreneurship, the law. media, public relations and the military will tackle a variety of issues to equip students and college graduates to better compete in the world for jobs, launch careers and capitalize on the monumental changes taking place. Seating is limited.
