Documentary focuses on one of the earliest successful school desegregation cases in U.S. history, utilizing photographs, interviews, historical footage to examine the response of Lemon Grove's Mexican-American community to a 1930 school board attempt to create a segregated school for Mexican-American children in the district. Event includes talk by by Palomar College professor John Valdez.
