Born in Cologne, Germany to a Chinese-German father and Hungarian mother, Ottmar Liebert comes from a culturally rich musical background. At age 11 he began playing the guitar, and he traveled extensively through Europe and Asia with his parents, soaking up all of the traditions he could. Liebert pursued his passion in Germany, then moved to Boston, MA, and eventually settled in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
