Celebrate Black History Month at the 20th annual Kuumba Fest, a three-day African-American heritage festival. Throughout the three-day celebration, visitors will find traditional African art, educational workshops, hip-hop dance and speech competitions, play performances and more. There will also be an African marketplace with arts and crafts for sale. Kuumba Fest kicks off Friday with a parade, a best-dressed competition and the play ?Black to Covenant.? The festival closes Sunday with an extravagant gospel finale.
