The Hutchins Consort will perform a string salute to French-speaking culture with world premiere of Bataillie's "Trout Swimming Upstream," the Boieldieu "Harp Concerto," Ravel's "Tzigane" and "Pavane for a Dead Princess," and Haitian and Tahitian songs. Ensemble plays on eight scaled violins.
