Informal conversation over box lunch with Francisco de Paula Guti?rrez, Ph.D. Dr. Guti?rrez is Professor of Economics and Finance at INCAE Business School (the Harvard Business School of Central America). He was the Minister of Finance of Costa Rica from 1996?1998 and President of the Central Bank of Costa Rica from 2002?2010. Dr. Guti?rrez has been a member of the Board of Directors of several organizations and companies in Costa Rica and has served as a consultant to international organizations. In addition to being a professor at INCAE, he is president of CEFSA, a well known consulting firm, devoted to the analysis of the Centr al American economies. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
