New this year is La Guelaguetza presented by Adriana?s Insurance, one of the biggest cultural events in Latin America, which will take over the Chevrolet Del Mar Arena on Sunday, June 10.
The Guelaguetza dates back hundreds of years, and is a beautiful and colorful event celebrating the culture of the Mexican state of Oaxaca. Meaning "an offering" or "gift" in the Zapotec Indian language, the festival includes performances of dance, song and music from the eight different regions of the state, as well as their culinary delights, exquisite textiles, ceramics and other native arts. La Guelaguetza is produced by Huatulco Entertainment.
Admission: FREE with County Fair admission ($13) with dinner/drinks
