Canyon Crest Academy and the Center for World Music are proud to present a very special performance of Javanese gamelan music and dance. Students from the Canyon Crest Academy gamelan program, directed by the Javanese master teacher Pak Djoko Walujo, will be accompanied by California Institute of the Arts singers and dancers in this end-of-year performance that will include an enchanting masked Topeng Panji dance. This free public performance will begin at 12:15 pm on Friday, June 3, in the Proscenium Theater at Canyon Crest Academy in Carmel Valley. Please note: Originally planned for May 27, this event has been rescheduled for June 3.
