Culinary Historians of San Diego will present "Dining at Shakespeare's Table," featuring Richard Foss, at 10:30 AM on June 18, 2016 in the Neil Morgan Auditorium of the Central Library. Foss will cover food, drink and Manners at tables from low to high class during Shakespeare's lifetime.
Richard Foss has been a food journalist covering the greater Los Angeles area since 1986; has taught food and beverage history classes and lectured widely. He is the California Curator for the Museum of the American Cocktail and a board member of Culinary Historians of Southern California. Foss has contributed to the Encyclopedia of World Food Cultures, the Oxford Companion to Sweets and has authored two books, "Rum: A Global History," and "Food and Drink in the Skies: A Surprising History of Food and Drink in the Skies."
