The Old Globe opens its 2016 Summer Shakespeare Festival with "Macbeth," the tragic tale of ambition and power.
Directed by renowned Shakespearean Brian Kulick, the play is filled with ferocious battles, supernatural horrors, famously gorgeous poetry, and some of the Bard?s most vivid characters.
Tempted by an evil prophecy, and encouraged by his wife, Macbeth murders his way to the throne of Scotland, reciting poetry like:
