The theme for the 2016 San Diego LGBT Pride Parade is Pride Unites the World. The mission of Pride San Diego is to foster pride in and respect for all lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender communities, locally, nationally, and globally. The parade follows a mile-and-a-half route starting west along University Avenue (starting at Normal Street) and turns south onto Sixth Avenue.
