Join Cal State San Marcos and Pacific Academy Encinitas for our second annual Cultural Immersion Day.
Share cultural interests, language and friendship at our Japanese & American Students Day Out (Grades 8-11). Student must bring bagged lunch.
Local students begin the day at Pacific Academy Encinitas meeting a group of international students (ages 14-16) from Japan and traveling with them first, to Midway Museum, and then to Cal State San Marcos. After a day of visiting the Midway Museum Pacific Academy students will be traveling with their new friends from Japan to California State University San Marcos in order to take a college tour, eat lunch and attend a college history course about the Midway Museum. Students will have the opportunity to study World War II and America?s involvement in the Pacific Theater while networking alongside International students from Japan.
