The Oceanside International Film Festival is an opportunity for independent filmmakers to have their work screened and judged and for film buffs to have a jump-start chance for viewing local and international films at a place in Southern California known for its rich history, beautiful beaches, and artistic freedom.
Today's Schedule:
2:00 PM to reception with refreshments & appetizers in the lobby of Star Theatre, 402 North Coast Hwy, Oceanside, CA 92054. This is the last picture opportunity for red carpet photos and in front of the OIFF Official Backdrop. Enjoy live background music by Ke?Ahi Music, refreshments & appetizers in the beautiful lobby (food and first drink included with passes, world-famous San Diego County?s craft beer is served)
3:00 PM to live performance onstage of Star Theatre by Ke?Ahi Music with a large scale number of hula dancers and ukulele players
3:15 PM to closing speech and greetings from OIFF?s organizational committee, presentation of about 20 awards (for winning films) to be given to filmmakers in each category from the OIFF Jury, and in each category for Audience Choice Awards, with screening of clips from winning films. The ceremony includes presentation of two special awards: OIFF Lifetime Achievement Award for Kathleen Quinlan for her contribution in film and television industry, and OIFF Lifetime Achievement Award for Roland ?Rolly? Crump for his historic contribution to the heart of the entertainment industry with Walt Disney Company
5:30 PM to 10 PM to Afterparty at Veneto?s Italian Cuisine a block away, (free drink and free appetizer ticket issued to all Awards Gala attendees at Star Theatre).
