An event of celebration filled with the richness of Polynesian culture celebrating friendship, music, dancing, drumming, singing, arts & crafts and islands spirits! "Te Moana" is Heiva San Diego 2016 Theme, it means: The Ocean. The Solo Dance Competition has dancers from all over the world including Mexico, Japan, Tahiti, as well as the USA will be held at the San Diego Concourse. Solo finals and group competitions will happen on Sunday. Opening night gala will be at the Bali Hai Restaurant. Many vendors will be present in an authentic Tahitian village showcasing many artifacts and crafts from the island or Tahiti. Reva Tahiti Productions is a cultural organization dedicated to promote friendship, understanding and cultural awareness between the people of French Polynesia and the United States through dancing, singing, education and the cultural arts.
