The San Diego Chinese Historical Museum (SDCHM) announces its first ever Community Appreciation Month! During the month of September, SDCHM will open its doors to the public with free admission. This will be an opportunity for the community to learn about SDCHM?s programs and to share ideas on how to make the Museum even more relevant and responsive.
Free admission will be offered to anyone who fills out a brief visitor survey. Also, each person who fills out a survey will be eligible for an opportunity drawing, held each Thursday during September. Prizes include gift certificates to local businesses, free SDCHM memberships, museum gift shop items, and more!
Often referred to as ?a hidden gem in San Diego,? the Museum is the only Asian museum in downtown San Diego dedicated to sharing Chinese culture, art and history with a collection of more than 2000 artifacts. The Museum continues to aspire to make Chinese culture more accessible to the San Diego community.
