Come join the 8th Annual CRY Walk 2016 in San Diego and help create opportunities for children so that they can fulfill their dreams.
Millions of children are deprived of what we believe are their basic rights - to survival, to development, to protection, and to participation. This event will bring hundreds of individuals together with the belief that 'change is possible, because we will make it possible'. The event provides a platform for people of all ages to come together and join the child rights movement.
We will have fun events in addition to the walk/run - food, games, yoga, face painting, balloon animals, and so much more!
India still suffers as being the country with the largest number of children in the workforce. Child marriages, female feticide, non-existent health and security for women and children, continues to plague the country as much as before. The CRY Walk for Child Rights is a platform for individuals to partner in the child rights movement that enables lasting change in the lives of children. By simply walking / running in this event each individual in his or her own way will be restoring to children their basic rights to - learn, live, play, express and be protected. Walk with us in beautiful 4S Ranch Community Park, and help make this event a success - and an enduring San Diego tradition!
