The Escondido Tamale Festival is back, bigger and better. More tamale vendors means more tasty options for you. Festivities include a best tamale contest, tamale rrdering & tasting, local craft beer & wine garden, and food vendors.
Bring your pooch and enter in the Chihuahua Costume Contest. Grande Stage entertainment featuring mariachis, Latin dance, cultural youth performances, Hispanic heritage exhibits. Craft vendors sell handmade, holiday items plus multicultural holiday decor, Maker San Diego, kids' craft area, inflatable bounce houses, face painters. The Escondido Tamale Festival is produced by the Escondido Downtown Business Association for the marketing, support, and preservation of the 127 year old Historic Downtown Business District.
