This monthly series features women writers of fiction, nonfiction, memoir, poetry and other genres who will read from or perform their work and engage in dialogues with audience members.
Zoe Ghahremani is a writer, poet, and artist. She has written three books: "Sky of Red Poppies," "The Moon Daughter" (English), and "The Commiserator" (Persian). In the decades preceding her publishing career, Zoe was in private practice while teaching at Northwestern University Dental School in Chicago.
A voice of the Iranian-American diaspora, her work has been featured in a number of anthologies including "Tremors: New Fiction by Iranian-American Writers," "A Year In Ink" and "The Poetry of Iranian Women."
