Gypsy-folk rockers Quel Bordel were founded when a Ukrainian gypsy named Jakovich Skolnick (BandapArt, the Plastic Revolution) met classical violinist Regina Brown (Nervous Wreckords, Rihanna) on a French Caribbean cruise line. After meeting two Filipino brothers on a fishing trip, the band added Aaron de la Rosa and Allen de la Rosa to the lineup, before heading to America to enlist drummer/Ricky-Gervais look-a-like Nick Sitar.
Their debut EP Qui Ne Chante Pas was released in 2013, followed by a second EP, Does Not Speak French, in May 2014.
The group played over 150 nationally touring dates in 2014, including a festival date opening for Real McKenzies, as well as booking an international tour slated for 2015 opening for French gypsy phenomenon Bandapart in Europe.
