Music: Dorado Schmitt & the Django All-Stars

Born to Gypsy parents near the German border in Lorraine, French guitarist and violinist Dorado Schmitt was weaned on traditional Roma music and Gypsy jazz. Schmitt will be performing jazz manouche, a sound created in the 1930s by guitarist Django Reinhardt and violinist St?phane Grappelli.
