Queen of Mexico. Empress of the Americas. Lupita, my homegirl. Her titles may be many, but her precedence south of the border is second to none. Join the eve of the annual feast day of Lady of Guadalupe, as the people of Tijuana take to the streets to honor the nation?s patron saint with processions, prayers and parades. It will start with a meal of traditional antojitos mexicanos, followed by a lap of the more impressive of the countless Guadalupe murals scattered around the city and visits to Nuestra Se?ora de Guadalupe Cathedral in downtown Tijuana and Mercado El Popo, the oldest market in the town. And, as this day marks the official kickoff of the holiday season in Mexico, it will finish with a posada party complete with pi?atas, punch, bu?elos, rompope, games, regalos and more. Tickets include roundtrip border transport, lunch and dinner. The group meets at the San Ysidro trolley station at 11:00 AM, with an estimated return to the border at 7:00 PM.
