The library celebration will feature a traditional lion dance and drum performance by the Three Treasures Cultural Arts Society, dance performance by the Blue Ming Chinese Dance Company, musical performances, and Chinese calligraphy demonstration by the Chinese Brush Painting Society. There will also be a storytime with author Oliver Chin, crafts with Lakeshore Learning, light refreshments, and red envelopes. The Lunar New Year is one of the most important of all the traditional Asian holidays and is a time to celebrate with family and wish peace and happiness to everyone.
