OASIS Presents: El Camino Real: California's Mission Road

Mission San Diego de Alcala marks the first mission established in Alta California. Father Junipero Serra was responsible for this mission and at least nine others, with an important roadway that linked the mission system in early California. Learn about the missions established along its route, how the road was used, and who used it over its history. Lastly, see what remains of the roadway today and how it is marked for future generations.
