Throughout their storied 52-year career, The Chieftains have secured six Grammy Awards and have been nominated 18 times. The traditional Irish band is led by Paddy Moloney, master of the pipes and tin whistle, and is backed by Matt Molloy on flute, and Kevin Conneff on bodhran drum. The Chieftains have amassed a dizzyingly varied resume - collaborating with the Rolling Stones, The Decemberists, Bon Iver, and Ziggy Marley - helping to popularize Irish music across the globe.
