The San Diego International Youth Arts Festival features young performing artists from a wide variety of artistic and cultural backgrounds as they share their tal-ents with the San Diego community. The SDIYA Festival also provides an opportunity for these artists to connect with a larger artistic community and discover the many wonderful performance genres here in San Diego.
Participants include: Malashock Dance Jr. Company, San Diego Korean Pungmul Institute, Hong Wu Kung Fu Tai Chi Academy, Flora Yuan, Ballet Folklorico El Tapatio, Recreational Mu-sic Center, Center for World Music Odissi Dance School, Grace Li & Michelle Lai, Neo Kyma dance group from Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, Jr Skullies, Xingjian Dance Studio, Rebecca Penner, and Rincon Youth Storytellers. Muramid Museum will also be displaying a large mural by teen artists.
