The Marcus Alcantarilla Trio features Marcus Alcantarilla (guitar), Halysson da Silva (percussion), and Stefanie Schmitz (clarinet, sax, percussion). Alcantarilla brings Brazil itself to the audience with his music. Exploring various rhythms and styles, he can soften things with a beautiful bossa nova, or heat up the place with an energetic samba. He also covers northeastern styles, inviting the crowd to sing along.
