Uncategorized Download To My Calendar
Meet directors and stars of the opening day films and other filmmakers and stars during the 2017 SDBFF Opening Reception. A catered affair (hors d'oeuvres and spirits). Dress to impress! Then, catch the 2017 SDBFF Opening Day Films. The purchase of a ticket allows you access to both the reception and films. But you could choose to attend the films only depending on your schedule. Or you could attend both. The Opening Day Reception and Films is a fund raiser.

Several films from previous years have gone on to win additional awards at other film festivals. More importantly, seven films that premiered at the San Diego Black Film Festival are either in negations or have already wrapped up distribution deals including the films "Locked in a Room," now with Echo Bridge Entertainment, and our Best Comedy winner "The Donut Shop," now with Viva Films. Good things await our 2017 filmmakers as well. See you in 2017.

The San Diego Black Film Festival runs from Thursday, April 27 to Sunday, April 30.
