The San Diego Shaka Fest is the fusion of Hawaiian culture, arts, and athletics, filled with events such as a youth-only canoe regatta, SUP race for adults and keikis, stages of dakine Hawaiian and Tahitian entertainment, boutique vendors, and island-inspired food vendors. Hosted by non-profit charity and youth-only program Nā Koa Kai Canoe Club.
