Los Tucanes de Tijuana is considered the global ambassadors of Norte?a music and corridos and ballads. Their fast-paced and energizing music attracted the attention of Mexico?s Ministry of Tourism, which asked band founder Mario Quintero Lara to pen a song, ?Mexico Es Tu Casa? (?Mexico Is Your Home?), to promote tourism in Mexico.
