The Sangerfest Grand Concert will be held this year in San Diego, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel - Grand Hanalei Ballroom, on Saturday, June 24 - 7:30 PM (Taylor Street and I-8).
The Pacific Sound Brass Quintet will perform. Member choruses from Washington and Oregon will comprise the bulk of the Grand Chorus, performing Scandinavian and American sacred, folk and classical selections. The San Diego Mannskor is the local Norwegian Men's Choir, a member chorus of the Pacific Coast Norwegian Singers Association, which has been in existence for over 100 years.
The PCNSA is a 501c3 organization and shares Norwegian musical culture. This is major fundraiser for the San Diego Mannskor and the PCNSA. Tickets are $25 (cash or check) at the door, parking $5.
