Deobrat Mishra from Benares, India is an award-winning, 11th-generation sitar player and founder-director of the Benares Academy of Indian Classical Music. The son of Pandit Shivnath Mishra, a legend of sitar, he has an energetic and innovative playing style featuring complex melodies and rhythms. He is touring with tabla artist Prashant Mishra.
