Moana Waialiki is the sea voyaging daughter of a chief in a long line of navigators. When a blight strikes her island, she discovers the only way to save her people is to reunite a legendary demigod, Maui, with a goddess?s heart. Thus, she sets sail on an epic journey across the Pacific to find him. This movie is made possible in part by the Carlsbad Library and Arts Foundation's Robert H. Gartner Cultural Endowment Fund.
