Prior to renewed U.S.-Cuban relations, adventure filmmaker Karin Muller hitchhiked for three months, around Cuba ? living with fishermen and farmers, a Santeria priestess and country doctors.
She filmed undercover on a tourist visa and Swiss passport and was arrested over a dozen times. In the end she gets beyond the propaganda and rhetoric to capture the true soul of Cuba.
The series features a pre-show introduction and post-show discussion with the film's director, Karin Muller.
