In October 2013, a small crew enters the correctional facility in Padua to hold a course on short film making. A casting session is held and out of the 40 inmates attending, 15 are selected for the course. The inmates are from 7 different nationalities and all awaiting trial. The crew doesn?t know why they are in jail, but they are encouraged by the hope in their eyes and carry on providing acting and writing classes. Is it possible for a group of complex, diverse and fragile of men to be rehabilitated through cinema? After 5 months of intensive lessons and rehearsals, they are ready to film and something has changed forever.
