Music: Matthew Welch

Welch will perform a set of solo music for the highland bagpipe that ranges from the Scottish music tradition to Southeast Asian music, focusing on the modern experimental music practices of minimalism and structured improvisation, and featuring compositions by himself and notable living composers.
