Percussionist Kosuke Matsuda will present AM ditative and imaginative soundscape inspired by Japanese traditions. The program features Moon Viewing Music by Peter Garland, a six-movement work inspired by Japanese haiku poets, as well as Kanade by Masayuki Sakamoto, performed on the powerful Japanese okedo taiko. In Japan, Moon Viewing (Tsukimi) is a cherished autumn tradition, a time to celebrate beauty and culture.
