The House of Germany Lawn Program occurs annually at the end of September to celebrate the Unification of Germany and Germany Day as proclaimed by President Reagan in 1987. It is also the time of the much celebrated Oktoberfest. Entertainment is provided by the Heimatklang Choir, a German brass band and folk dancers. Traditional food including bratwurst, sauerkraut and potato salad will be served, as well as a variety of German cakes, coffee and lemonade.
