The WorldBeat Center will be sponsoring a lecture at San Diego State University in conjunction with the Uhuru Solidarity Movement in San Diego. This event is part of a nationwide series of events being held in Oakland, Philadelphia, San Diego, and other cities across the United States and is a unique opportunity for the community to hear from the leaders of the African liberation movement. Keynote speakers include the international revolutionary leader, Chairman Omali Yeshitela, the leader and founder of the Uhuru Movement, and Penny Hess, the Chair of the African People's Solidarity Committee and the author of "Overturning the Culture of Violence."
