The Carlsbad Rotary Club's Oktoberfest will celebrate its 30th Oktoberfest with German food, live music, polka dancing, face painting, antique fire engines and a giant pumpkin patch. On average, about 8,000 people attend the Carlsbad Rotary Oktoberfest each year, which began in 1982.
