Enjoy an adventurous concert of music inspired by ancient history and mythology. Journey back in time with the second Cinballera Salon of 2026, Songs of the Ancient World, celebrating the Ides of March with a concert inspired by ancient times. Some of the greatest operatic masterpieces were inspired by events which took place thousands of years ago, either in the annals of history or in the pages of mythology. From opera excerpts about Roman generals to oratorio arias sung by Hebrew heroines, this will be a historical whirlwind of music. In keeping with the Villa's gracious history, guests are encouraged to dress like your favorite ancient character.
