Shibori is a traditional Japanese craft with a history spanning over 400 years and more than 200 distinct techniques. Hiroyuki Murase, Creative Director of suzusan, will lead a special workshop to introduce the history, background, and techniques of this art. In this four-hour workshop, participants will learn two different Shibori techniques and use silk scarves to create a unique, handmade piece. We warmly invite you to experience and explore the beauty of Japanese craftsmanship.
