The celebration features an inspiring lineup of special presentations by local leaders, including Moana Alo M.Ed. (District Representative, Office of State Senator) , Susan Delos Santos (Publisher, The Filipino Press) , and Dr. Virginia Loh-Hagan (Executive Director, San Diego State University Office of AANAPISI Affairs and the APIDA Center). Attendees will also enjoy live Hawaiian dance performances by Kaliloa O Kaleo’Onalani, an engaging cultural storytime , and complimentary refreshments. Additionally, children can participate in an interactive Q&A and a raffle for a chance to win a free copy of the featured book, "A is for Asian American: An Asian Pacific Islander Desi American Alphabet".
