The Heritage of the Americas Museum is proud to announce its newest special exhibition, A-Maizing Maize: How Corn Built the Americas, an engaging exploration of one of the world's most influential crops and its profound impact on the history, cultures, and civilizations of the Western Hemisphere.
Opening this season, the exhibition invites visitors to discover how maize—commonly known as corn—transformed human societies from ancient times to the present. More than a staple food, maize became the foundation of economic prosperity, scientific innovation, artistic expression, religious traditions, and cultural identity throughout the Americas.
