Inspired by Douglas Sirk's classic 1950s melodramas, writer/director Fran?ois Ozon (Swimming Pool) adds a modern spin by making the suffering centerpiece of his drama a gay man. Parisian photographer Romain (Melvil Poupaud) seems to have the perfect life: a great career, an adoring boyfriend and a beautiful apartment. This all changes when he learns he only has a few months to live. Suddenly Romain is forced to decide whom to disclose his secret to, and whether or not he should find closure with his dysfunctional family. Co-starring Jeanne Moreau and Valeria Bruni Tedeschi.
