Dance to the sounds of Guggenbach Buam, an honest-to-goodness Bavarian band, at this year's Oktoberfest in El Cajon, being held over two weekends at the German American Club, Sept. 30 and Oct. 1, and Oct. 7 and 8.
A beer garden is sure to be popular with the of-age crowd, but German folk dancing, games and contests, crafts booths, a shooting gallery and authentic Bavarian food will draw kids and adults alike. Admission is $3 for those 21 and older. Admission is free for those in the military or younger than 21. a raffle with prizes will also take place, with a grand prize of a round-trip flight for two to Germany.
