Folk Art of Mexico? Selections from the Collection of Mingei International

This exhibition presents contemporary objects of daily use from throughout Mexico fashioned from clay, tin, wood, paper and fiber. Here you will find every aspect of Mexican life represented ? from bullrings to busses to wedding and funerals. the exhibition demonstrates the importance of family, community, religion and fun as well as the creative spirit of Mexican craftspeople. This ongoing event will be held from now until January 15, 2007.
