IAG (International Affairs Group) Presents: 'Iraq - on the Ground Assessment: Is Peace Possible?' with Dr. Farouk Al-Nasser at 3:30 PM in the Great Hall.
Born in Iraq, Dr. Al-Nasser will describe the US occupation from the point of view of the Iraqi people, providing a brief history of Iraq and its sectarian and ethnic composition. While in Iraq, his unique position as an Iraqi native and a high level executive gave him the opportunity to deal directly with the Coalition Provisional Authority (CPA), allowing him to provide insight into the insurgency, U.S. options, and the challenges and opportunities that exist.
