This December the Old Globe will bring back Teatro M?scara M?gica?s acclaimed holiday musical, La Pastorela de la Estrella. Glorious archangels battle evil devils for the souls of humanity in the traditional Mexican-flavored Christmas musical. a partnership of the Old Globe and Teatro M?scara M?gica, the annual La Pastorela tells the story of the shepherds' journey to Bethlehem to witness the first Christmas. This rollicking comedy blends political satire, popular culture and beautiful Spanish Christmas songs. Teatro M?scara M?gica has produced La Pastorela for over 15 years, during which time it has become one of the West Coast's best loved family holiday traditions. This event will be from Dec 7 - Dec 23, 2006.
