Paintings of South India

The latest presentation of works from SDMA's Edwin Binney 3rd Collection highlights 25 paintings from South India. The works on view are primary from the 19th century, and unlike other types of painting that were influenced by Mughal intervention, they stay true to indigenous local styles. This ongoing event will be held from now thru Jun 3, 07.
